photoblog image Sea Defenses

Sea Defenses

Yesterday at Arbroath I returned to a familiar place, this time I preset the camera in the car and then dashed out, set up the tripod and clicked. Again it was freezing and violent.

MANY THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS ON THIS ONE, IT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PREVIOUS OCCASSION AND YET SOMEHOW I THINK THERE'S STILL MORE TO COME FROM THIS LOCATION.

great stuff - you captured the waves perfectly
Alan Wild: Thanks Paul, I love this shutter speed for this location, it captures the foreground waves with a silky movement.

Stunning shot
Alan Wild: Many thanks, it's an ever changing scene...apart from the blocks.
Great shot. You suffer for your art!
Alan Wild: Thanks Ian, I can't tell you how cold it gets, my hands were so cold and I was getting pelted with spray, there's also the hypnotic effect of the waves below drawing you into the water.
