Fierce golden sun
strikes mighty wings
Rising draught of air
This eagle has won,
such joy of flight it brings

This intense blue,
matched by clouds of pure white
This golden eagle rises too
Far in to heavenly light

Light ruffle of feather
Rising high
Mighty eagle has no tether
Far in to the sky

Mighty wings,
many miles to glide
This eagles heart sings,
eyes scanning far and wide

Merest whisper of wind sound,
flowing over golden wings
Not heard on dusty ground,
far below
This golden hunter does know

Soaring high
Golden eagle
Golden light
Golden delight
Blue sky

This blue summer sky
Eagle has to fly
Soaring, it's first love
High in golden light above

This journey of flight,
in golden light,
coming full circle
Mighty wings,
upon which beating heart sings
